A product listing can identify a lead. A distribution decision needs stronger evidence: who can supply which model, in which territory, with which documents and after-sales responsibilities. Keep those questions beside the commercial quotation.
Supplier due diligence in six parts
| Area | Evidence to request |
|---|---|
| Identity and authority | Legal entities, chain of supply authority, named models, territory, term and any exclusivity wording. |
| Market access | Exact model record, current local labeling and identified responsible parties. |
| Usable stock | Batch, expiry, remaining shelf life, storage and transport requirements. |
| App and training | Local app availability, language, compatibility information and training owner. |
| Complaints and replacements | Complaint intake, failure evidence, replacement logistics, recall and safety escalation. |
| Commercial offer | Quantity, currency, tax, shipping, payment, returns and continuing support obligations. |
Separate public signals from contractual facts
A map pin shows a mapped association. A reseller page shows a public offer. Neither proves a current direct supply relationship, authorization or exclusivity. Obtain the document that states the relationship and verify its issuing party, model scope, territory and validity.
Regulatory status is also separate: a supplier can show a registration number without establishing the exact device’s marketing authorization. The FDA registration database explicitly warns that registration and listing do not denote approval.
Make the first order a bounded verification step
Define what the sample order must prove: correct model and labeling, documents, app access, packaging, support response and the agreed workflow. Record acceptance criteria before the order. A successful sample does not guarantee future volumes or an exclusive appointment; larger commitments need their own evidence.
For VivaChek-specific research, our channel research guide organizes public evidence. This site cannot appoint distributors or grant brand rights.
